Some Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group rides for this week include Thursday’s midweek mountain bike ride starting at 8.30am at the Woollamia boat ramp car park (Frank Lewis Way), cycling to Vincentia via Woollamia and Jervis Bay nature reserves. Sunday, December 10: Comerong Island Breakwall, 40km return. Starts at 9am from the carpark, corner of Princes Highway and Pleasant Way, Nowra (at the Helicopter). Ride along Comerong Island Road through Terara and Numbaa to the ferry. Take the ferry across to the island and ride to the breakwall at the southern end of Comerong Island and then return the same way. A shorter ride of 17.5km can be had by starting and finishing at the ferry. Contact: Peter (02) 4446 0119.
The monthly SBUG members meeting will take place tonight at 7pm at the Bomaderry Bowling Club. Meet at the club an hour earlier for dinner if you wish.
