Sunday Chook Run will restart in January 28th 2018
2. Men's Social Bowls played every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday afternoons from 1pm, pairs competitions, lots of fun, names required by 11am, Ladies very welcome. Thank you.
3. Lawn Bowls Coaching. Available every Wednesday afternoon from 1pm. to 5pm. Our Coach is a very experienced player and a qualified Coach for N.S.W. Lawn Bowls. He is very keen to help you learn the basics, initially of lawn bowls. So why not come along to our bowling club and give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised just how much you will enjoy it. Both Ladies and Men are welcome. There is no cost to you for coaching.
4. Bare Foot Bowls. This can be played by anybody who likes to have fun with others whether you are an experienced bowler or not. You can play at any time at our club as we have lights that can be used in the evenings. We also have bowls available to use. Contact the Bowls Organiser, Daniel, to find out what can be arranged before Christmas.
Berry Men
Wednesday 29th produced entertaining bowls and very competitive matches. Geoff Lidbetter and David Lambert took an early lead but then found that Wade Eaton and David Badger took the match to tied scores on ends 14 and 19 but Geoff and David took the match by scoring two on end 21. Tom Froggatt skipped Rob Folkard to a narrow victory over Brian Povey and Nick Nicholls despite this pairing winning six of the last eight ends. Ken Crocker and Terry Hayes defeated the Barry Dunn and Phil Chittick combination. In triples Peter Webb skipped Peter Haddon and Bob Dunn to a narrow victory over Harry Harrop, Russell Tulloch and Derek Raymond.
Play on Saturday 2nd December saw play terminated after eight ends due to a strong but short wind storm.
Mollymook Roadrunners
Thirty Roadrunners enjoyed a cooling breeze with their social game of bowls last Sunday morning. Four games of triples and one pairs game were played with the following results: Alan Hayman, Val Brady and Paul Barnes 22 outplayed Cathy Wisniewski, Doug Broad and Peter Champion 8. Gary Wisniewski, Jeff Deal and Trish Moy 33 were too good for June Manning/Dot Pannowitz, Val Abbott and Brian Thurecht 12. Craig Lees, Elaine Lill and Wayne Drury 21 narrowly outplayed Graham Corby, Geoff Travis and Roy Booth 18. Bob Brooks and Robin Oke 26 paced themselves against Bob Field and Col Milligan 21. Col Manning/Sue Dent, David Henry and Eric Woodburn 29 outclassed Marilyn Cressani, Leon Lill and David White 8.
The winning rink receiving the fresh chickens went to Bob Brooks and Robin Oke and the losing rink of Graham Corby, Geoff Travis and Roy Booth received half their green fees back. The ham raffle was won by Dot Pannowitz. Raffle winners included: Val Abbott, June Manning, Peter Champion, Graham Corby, Bob Field, Jeff Deal, Paul Barnes and Sue Dent.
Date to remember: The Roadrunners Christmas party, 17th December. Next Sunday we will be contesting our $150 half jackpot with lunch to follow with the cards being called for an 8.30 start.
Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen Men
An intense storm swept us off the green on Saturday. Tuesday saw the start of the 2017 Kel Campbell Caltex Distributor’s Interclub Challenge at Bomaderry Bowling Club. Wednesday saw two games of Social Triples and three games of Social Pairs.
Tuesday 28th November Interclub Challenge. Singles: Tim McCormack went down and Shirley Toohey won.
Wednesday 29th November was a hot, humid day with a mild Northerly breeze. The green was playing at a medium pace.
Rink 2 held the first game of Pairs with Allan Furniss and Ian Abberley playing outstanding bowls to overcome their opponents by 20 shots to 15.
Rink 3 saw Joe Wright and Trevor Wright just too skilled on the day and winning by 23 to 10 shots.
Rink 4 In the first of the Triples, Paul Takac, Graham Mills and Alan Rose played at their very best and trounced their opponents by 26 shots to 11.
Rink 5 Gary Thurston and Peter Smith had their head in the right place when they demolished their opposition by 24 to 13 shots.
Rink 6 witnessed Norm Schulz, David Solomon and Alessandro Lattanzio playing magnificent bowls to devastate their opposition by 25 shots to 11.

Interclub Challenge Fours: Ray Solway’s team went down and Bev Barker’s team won. Thursday 30th November Interclub Challenge Triples: John Edwards’s team won and Helen Stevens’s team went down. Saturday 2nd December was washed out.
What’s On: Wednesday 6th December. Social Bowls payment by 12.30pm. 6th, 7th December Bomaderry Inter-Club Champions Challenge 5 PM Club Uniform. Saturday 9th December. Combined Christmas party. 10 for 10.30 a.m. Fun cloths for a fun day. Saturday 16th December Club Presentation Day 9.30 for 10 a.m. Club Uniform. Last Wednesday of the Month 27th December Nominated Pairs competition.

SATURDAY SUPER SIX 2ND DECEMBER 2017
10 Teams entered the 3 games by 6 ends format . due to thunderstorms and rain only 2 games were completed . winning the day with 2 wins + 5 margin were Lenny Thomas & Brett Gilligan. the old fox lead the way and made Brett's job a lot easier . Runners up were Dione & Gary Thurston from Nowra Ex Servos with 1 win 1 draw + 12 margin.

Callala
Overcast skies on Saturday, December 2, the ladies celebrated the end of their bowling year with a game of boules, a delicious traditional Christmas lunch and the presentation of awards for 2017. The boules format was round robin style with Terry McMillan and Dianne Dawes winning by one against Lyn Byrne and Coleen Tracey. I hope everyone has a very happy and safe Christmas and New Year. Bowls will resume on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 after our monthly meeting.
Even though rain was forecast for Sunday, December 3, the weather was fine for the postponed RSL Sub Branch Nominated Triples. The winners this year were Bryan Green, Lesley and Chris Harbrow. Jane Davis, Dennis Beazley and Bob Fowler were runners up. Third place was won by Terry Renaud, Col Neighbour and Barry Schey. Phill Bowerman, Petra and Pat Ford won the AM prize. The PM prize was won by Ron Wilkinson, Tracey and Eddie Semevente.
Culburra Women
Warm and sunny days had our Social ladies out enjoying their bowls last week. Our Tuesday winners were Trish Tom, Joy Hanneman and Judy Watson over Margaret Gilchrist, Annette Barry and Kim Rudd, Eileen Hunter, Narelle Wetsteyn, Betty Oldfield and Jean Eagleton over Lynne McKee, Maree Gilfoyle, Carol Blackshaw and Anne McCauley, and Ruby Salmon, Gail Scott and Helen Neilsen had a draw with Carol Turton, Thelma Cooley and Jenny Castellan.
Only two games of pairs on Thursday, with Trish Tom and Marea Challender defeating Carol Turton and Annette Lapins, and Ruby Salmon and Anne McCauley defeating Narelle Wetsteyn and Marilyn O’Day.

Shoalhaven Darts Association
Results of Semi Finals:
Mohawks def Marlins 7 games to 4. Mohawks went into the singles with a 3 to 2 games lead, and then won 4 of their singles. Pete Smith had five finishes. Darren Brudenell had the high score of 177. For Marlins Peter Wood had four finishes and Phil Reeves had the high score of not one but 2 great 180’s. Mohawks advance to the grand final.
Eagles def Bandits 8 games to 3. Eagles went into the singles with a 3 to 2 game lead and then won 5 of their singles. Peter Vider had five finishes and shared the high score with Justin Ganderton of 140. For Bandits Trevor Hay and Dave Hogan had three finishes and Dave had the high score of 140.
Second Division: Exservicemen def Squaws 7 games to 2. Exservicemen went into the singles with a 4 games to 1 lead. Ken O’Neill had five finishes and Therese Bournes had the high score of 133. Kelly Hogan had three finishes. Kay Dowell had the high score of 140. Exservicemen advance to grand final.
Taipans def Devils 7 games to 4. Taipans went into the singles with a 3 games to 2 lead. Kaylene Hackett led the way with six finishes and John Perrin had the high score of 127. For Taipans Darren Ralph had four finishes and Kerrie Dempsey had the high score of 121.
Players there is social darts on Thursday night.
