A man will appear in Nowra Local Court on Thursday after allegedly assaulting another man and detaining a woman in Nowra on Wednesday afternoon.

About 12.30pm ( November 15) a 63-year-old man was in Smiths Lane, Nowra waiting to drop his laptop off for repair, when he was allegedly punched several times to the head by a younger man.
As the older man fell to the ground, the younger man allegedly fled with a wallet, laptop bag and mobile phone. He was last seen running towards Stewart Place.
Shortly after, the man allegedly jumped into the back passenger seat of a Subaru driven by a 59-year-old woman and directed her to drive to Nowra East, where he got out of the car.
The woman called Nowra Police who started investigations.
The 63-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries and was taken to Shoalhaven District Hospital for treatment.
Shortly before 2.30pm, police arrested a 26-year-old man on Queensborough Street, Nowra.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery and inflict actual bodily harm, and detain for advantage.
He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court tomorrow, Thursday.
