FOUR of the Shoalhaven District Cricket Association’s top players will be part of the South Coast Crew’s continued assault on the Plan B Regional Bash this Sunday.

Bay and Basin pair Michael Perry and Kyle Jarrett, Ulladulla United’s Connor Hawkins and Batemans Bay’s Carl Lang will aim to keep their silverware dream alive in Orange.

After the South Coast Crew lost their opening encounter to the ACT Aces on Sunday, October 29 at Manuka Oval, Canberra, this Sunday’s two matches are must win.

Perry and Jarrett were both part of the Crew’s opening match and will be looking to improve on their respective scores of seven and zero this weekend.

The Crew, which has since added Hawkins and Lang, will first play the Central West Wranglers at Orange’s Wade Park from 9.30am on Sunday, before backing up against the Orana Outlaws at 12.30pm at Riverina Park, Orange.

The top team from this Orange Pool will progress to the semi-finals on December 10 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The other three semi-final spots will be made up of the winners from the Maitland Pool (Hunter Hitmen, Illawarra Flames, Newcastle Blasters and Central Coast Rush), Griffith Pool (Border Bullets, Wagga Wagga Sloggers, Murrumbidgee Rangers and Southern Riverina Vipers) and Coffs Harbour Pool (Coffs Coast Chargers, Northern Rivers Rock, Macquarie Coast Stingers and Northern Inlands Bolters).

The final will be played on the same day, December 10 from 6.30pm.
