FORMER Milton-Ulladulla Bulldog Jack Murchie has started training with the Canberra Raiders first grade squad, ahead of the 2018 season.

2017 National Youth Competition star Jack Murchie, who also spent a season with Gerringong, has been added to their full-time squad, along with new signings Sam Williams (Wakefield Trinity), Charlie Gubb (New Zealand Warriors) and Brad Abbey (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs).

Following a sensational 2017 season, which included being named in the NYC team of the year, as well as playing for both the under 20s Australia and under 20s NSW sides, Murchie will be hoping to make his first grade debut in 2018.

2018 Raiders pre-season squad: Brad Abbey, Blake Austin, Cooper Bambling, Kurt Baptiste, Luke Bateman, Jarrett Boland, Shannon Boyd, Erin Clark, Adam Clydsdale, Nick Cotric, Jarrod Croker, Bill Cullen, Kalani Going, Charlie Gubb, Emre Guler, Josh Hodgson, Corey Horsburgh, Royce Hunt, Liam Knight, Sebastian Kris, Joey Leilua, Dunamis Lui, Makahesi Makatoa, Zac Masters, Jack Murchie, Michael Oldfield, Kato Ottio, Fabian Paletua-Kiri, Josh Papalii, Junior Paulo, Jordan Rapana, Mikaele Ravalawa, Paul Roache, Josh Saunders, Aidan Sezer, Sia Soliola, Joe Tapine, Elliott Whitehead, Jack Wighton and Sam Williams.
