Winner Mel Judd, dragged into the competition by her colleague, was thankful that she took part, and shocked to win.
Her bottle green skirt, which extended below the knees like many of the finalists’ dresses, won points for originality.
She bought the Camilla and Marc piece at a warehouse sale.
Teamed with the black lace, frilly, long sleeve shirt, Mel was both stylish and classy.

Runner up Dayna Hill was also looking elegant on race day.
White was the most popular colour among entrants, and a number of women teamed white with navy blue.
