Police are investigating after a boy was threatened with a knife and his backpack was stolen at a skate-park in Nowra over the weekend.

About 2.20pm on Sunday, a 17-year-old teen was at Harry Sawkins Park with his BMX bike.
Two males approached him, grabbed his bike and demanded he hand it over. The 17-year-old refused and one of the males produced a knife and threatened him.
A witness intervened and helped the teen to retrieve the bike but the attackers managed to run off with the boy’s backpack.
Police are now appealing for the man who assisted the teenage boy to contact Nowra police on (02)4421 9699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is also urged to contact police.
Police are also searching for the two males. They are described as being Caucasian appearance, 18 to 20 years old, wearing dark clothing.
No one was injured during the incident.
