Attack devastates football club

THE Bomaderry Football Club’s rooms were destroyed in what can only be described as a shocking attack early Saturday morning.

The stunned club officials arrived to see what the damage was and if they could save anything.

However, it does not look good.

All the club’s belongings - team shirts, socks, shorts, canteen equipment, pie ovens, fridge, junior goals, club history, line markers and more is gone.

Nothing is salvageable but this proud club has vowed to be back next season.

Over the off-season the club will  working on having the club up and running before next season.

One club stalwart summed up the feeling of the club members -  “to say I am completely disheartened is an understatement”.
