Volunteer firefighters have contained fires at Sussex Inlet and Milton.

The NSW RFS Fires Near app reported a blaze in bushland at Ellmoos Road, Sussex Inlet. An RFS spokesperson said crews attended after being alerted to a smouldering log that had reignited. They made it safe.

A grass fire near Milton on Woodstock Road was also brought under control earlier this afternoon.

A Watch and Act is in force at Dunns Creek Road, Woodlands, south of Batemans Bay, where a fire is threatening properties east of Mogo Zoo.

A blaze that burnt out 11 hectares at Boorala Road, Jervis Bay has been brought under control.
