A man spotted by a member of the public allegedly breaking into a car in a Nowra CBD car park on Friday night has been charged with a number of offences.

About 6.45pm on September 8, a member of the public allegedly saw a 36-year-old man breaking into a sedan in the Egans Lane car park in Nowra.
Police attended the scene and found a man inside the car, allegedly holding several items of property.
Police arrested the male who allegedly struggled with police and was handcuffed.
When the man was searched, police allegedly found a knife, a visa card and items of jewellery.
The man was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with larceny, goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen, entering a vehicle without consent of the owner, resisting arrest, carrying cutting weapon, custody of a knife in a public place and malicious damage.
He was refused bail and was to appear before Nowra Local Court on Saturday.
