Man accused of sexually assaulting young girls fronts Nowra Court

A man, 65, will face Nowra Court today charged over the alleged sexual and indecent assault of three young girls.

Police will allege in court the man, who was known to the girls, assaulted them on separate occasions between February and May.

Following extensive police investigations, the man was arrested at Nowra Police Station about 9am on Friday.

The Campbelltown man was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault of persons under 16, and eight counts of indecent assault of persons under 16.

He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today.

The Child Abuse Squad is comprised of detectives who are specially trained to investigate crimes against children, including sexual assault, physical abuse and serious cases of neglect.
