Rumours abound what businesses could be taking up residence in the unused Masters Building at South Nowra.
The likes of Super Amart Furniture, JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys and Anaconda have all been linked with 12,977 square metre complex just off the Princes HIghway.
There is also talk that Spotlight, which relocated from the Nowra CBD to the former Good Guys store at South Nowra in 2016, could also move into the complex.
That would correspond with other speculation that homewares store Harris Scarfe might also relocate from the Nowra CBD to South Nowra.
It is understood the company had previously been looking at the former Spotlight building in Berry Street, Nowra but if Spotlight did relocate across the highway at South Nowra, it might move into that vacant store and perhaps open a full variety store.
Sydney company Aurrum Holdings’ application to divide the Masters building into seven separate shops was approved by Shoalhaven City Council last month.
The application changes the use of the existing building to a multi-tenancy centre including bulky goods premises and a cafe.
