Ison and Co was fortunate to have Win’s program Alive and Cooking film a segment from their store at South Nowra on Friday.
Program host and chef James Reeson said the crew chose the location to coincide with the 100th birthday of the established business.
“I’ve got three great little dishes lined up because they love a good feed down here,” he said.
“I’ve got a classic garlic and rosemary leg of lamb on the barbecue, I’ve got a slightly more twisted one that’s got some ginger, black bean, chillies and soy sauce and then I’ve got a beautiful shoulder of pork that’s been slowly roasted with some apples, good stuff like that.”
The daytime program can often be seen filming in beautiful South Coast locations.
“I love this stretch of coast, we get down here as much as we can,” Mr Reeson said.
“I’ve done stuff at Greenwell Point before with the oysters, we’ve been out on Lake Conjola and Bendalong, you can pick any one of those spots, its Gods own country, I love it down here.”
