The event, which aims to raise awareness about the various health issues relating to women in the community, was run in conjunction with the month long "Shoalhaven International Women’s Day" events.
“It’s gone brilliantly, we’ve had a really good turnout and we’re really happy,” Organiser Wendy Hobbs said.
“It’s really important to highlight the services that are available for women, but also to give information to our young women about things they can achieve, where they can go for help and what they can do.”
The festival is an important event which allows women from all walks of life to come together, celebrate their achievements, discuss health issues and be inspired in their career.
“We’ve got Naval simulators her, showing young girls how to fly a helicopter, which is brilliant to be able to show what women can do,” Mrs Hobbs said.
“Aren’t we lucky in the Shoalhaven to have women in all three levels of government, we have the Navy who are promoting for women and so many men here supporting women’s issues.”
