The event will be held Friday, March 31 from 6.30pm at The Tea Club Nowra.
The night will celebrate Youth Week 2017 and show support for sexuality and gender diverse young people in the local region.
The Youth Reference Group invites young people who are sexuality or gender diverse and their supportive friends, family and community to participate.
Trivia will be hosted by Wollongong Comedy’s Shane Ladymoon and music provided by local musicians Kim De Ville and Jordan and Illawarra Band Proud Ground. There will also be free pizza.
Up for grabs are prizes donated by local businesses.
Limited tickets are available online at https://nowratrivia2017.eventbrite.com or by contacting Dora at headspace Nowra on 4421 5388.
A suggested donation of $5 at the door is greatly appreciated.
headspace Nowra supports young people aged 12-25 years who may be going through a tough time. The aim of this trivia night is to create a safe space that celebrates sexuality and gender diverse young people in the Shoalhaven, and connects them to their peers in the local community.
On the night headspace will gauge community interest and support towards future events and support groups for LGBTIQ+ youth and their families.
