Noah’s supports children, young people and their families through a comprehensive range of early education and care, assessment, therapy, behaviour support and disability services at their Centre located at Shoalhaven Campus of University of Wollongong in West Nowra.
Owners of South Coast Retreat Liz and Simon Meagher met while working with Save the Children UK and are passionate about children’s rights to protection from harm and access to quality education and health services.
South Coast Retreat's relationship with Noah’s began in 2015 when parents of children with additional needs from Noah's enjoyed a much deserved respite during a three day tour of the Shoalhaven conducted by South Coast Retreat and several local tourism partners.
Since then guests staying at South Coast Retreat are encouraged to make donations to Noah's for complimentary services such as bike hire, espresso coffee and home-sourced eggs.
“We have been extremely fortunate in our lives and derive great satisfaction from being able to share these benefits with Noah's,” Mrs Meagher said.
“Noah's isn’t just a source of inspiration to children, their parents and caregivers, it is a source of inspiration to us and the entire community and we feel very privileged to be able to be a part of that community.
“We are very pleased to be in a position to be able to make this donation and look forward to assisting Noah's more and more.”
