Shoalhaven Homeless Hub advocate Wendy Bennett took possession of the goods on Thursday morning after the delivery truck was delayed due to bad weather.
Among the individuals who donated swags were Greater Bank, Brendan Faulkner from Assured Locks, David Reid from David Reid Homes and David Bennett from Shoalhaven Garage Doors.
Greater Bank branch manager Tracey Hayward said the bank was interested in supporting a community based not-for-profit organisation.
“We had the opportunity to apply for a $500 grant, we had to put a proposition to the Greater, of why we thought we wanted the grant and who we were giving it to,” she said.
“I heard Wendy talking about the Homeless Hub and I thought what a great opportunity.
“I put our submission forward to the Greater and they contacted me and said great, we’re happy to give you $500.
“We also wanted to let people know that the Greater supports charitable organisations and we are customer owned so we do look after our own people.”
