Man refused bail over assaults
A 38-YEAR-OLD man, has been refused bail in Nowra Local Court after being charged with common assault, assaulting and resisting police and escaping police custody.

Troy Anthony Ridgeway, of no fixed place of abode, appeared before Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming on Monday.
Ridgeway was charged with common assault after allegedly assaulting another man between 4.20am and 4.50am on December 18.
He was also charged with assaulting and resisting police and escaping police custody between 11.35am and 11.45am on January 10.
Bail was not applied for and was formally refused.
He will reappear in Nowra Local Court on February 22.
