With hundreds of kilometres of open ocean to cover and crew changes at sea, Briggs said his squad and fellow teams from Pambula and Tathra had been busily preparing for the challenge.
The George Bass is run every two years and will launch in just two weeks for its 2016 iteration.
The team of Offshore Productions caught some footage of the Pambula Lads team in conjunction with Tathra squads on video using drones as they made preparations off Tathra recently.
