SHOALHAVEN Heads butcher Nathan Alcock has continued his remarkable success with his sausages.
Along with his team at Mountain Side Meats, Mr Alcock claimed three category wins at the regional Australian Meat Industry Council sausage king and best butchers burger competition.
Held at TAFE Illawarra West Wollongong campus, the local team is now off to the state titles after taking first in the poultry section, the Australian lamb open category, and the continental category.
They will now proceed to the state final in Port Macquarie on September 12.
Victory at state level is nothing new to Mr Alcock, who has tasted success of numerous occasions, as well as winning national gold in the gourmet section with their satay, macadamia and fresh coriander creation and gained a second with their lamb sausages which included a mix of coconut, curry and coriander.
