To lose the buildings would mean the loss of one of the few remaining links to the region’s tourism history, according to local heritage consultant Robin Graham.
The buildings on Scenic Drive are on the site earmarked for a future hotel development.
“The building probably dates in the 1920s and would have been one of the first buildings in Culburra,” Mr Graham said.
It and the Riverhaven building are both significant buildings that relate to the history of Culburra.
Mr Graham said he wasn’t sure when the buildings were moved to Nowra but believed they could be moved again.
“I’d like to see them relocated and used as a boutique wedding venue. They’re perfectly movable buildings,” he said.
