Police are investigating a balcony collapse that left five people injured in the Shoalhaven on Tuesday night.

About 6pm (Tuesday 23 December 2014), police and emergency services were called to a home on The Citadel at Manyana, following reports that a first floor balcony collapsed.
Three women, a 79-year-old, a 41-year-old, and a 43-year-old received serious injuries from the collapse and were airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
A 43-old man and a 42-year-old woman also received minor injuries and have been taken by Ambulance Paramedics to hospital.
A crime scene has been established and police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
