Around 9am emergency services were called to the accident about nine kilometres east of the Princes Highway, where two vehicles had apparently sideswiped each other.
An ambulance spokesperson said the vehicles, a four-wheel drive work vehicle towing a trailer driven by a male, and a sedan driven by a young woman had narrowly missed colliding head-on.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries but were not transported to hospital. The same can’t be said for their vehicles which it is believed will both be write-offs.
This is the latest of a spate of accident emergency crews have attended in the local area over the past week, with a number of a number attributed to last week’s wet conditions.
