Police said an 18-year-old pizza delivery driver had made a delivery to Antares Close in East Nowra just after 11pm when he was confronted by two men who demanded cash.
The driver had stopped his vehicle a short way from the delivery point, and got out of the car, moving to the passenger’s side of the vehicle to recover money that had fallen onto the floor when he was approached by the men.
The victim was pushed against the vehicle, grabbed by the shirt and collar and threatened with assault by one man, while the other offender reached inside the vehicle and took a small amount of cash from a purse in the front of the vehicle.
The men were last seen running away in a westerly direction from Antares Close towards Kameruka Crescent.
No weapon was seen, with the shaken but unhurt driver returning to his base in Kinghorne Street, Nowra before calling police.
The men were described as both being aged 20-25, of Aboriginal appearance, 180cm tall and medium build.
At the time one was wearing a black and grey hoodie, grey track pants and black joggers, the other was wearing a dark T-shirt, had a red hoodie tied around his waist and was wearing grey track pants.
