A 20-year-old woman from Woollamia has been airlifted to hospital following a single car accident on Jervis Bay Road.

The accident happened at 4.40pm on Sunday when the woman’s car slid on the wet road near the intersection with Woollamia Road and hit a tree.
The woman was trapped and had to be cut out of the extensively damaged car.
Police closed off the eastbound lane while she was being extracted.
An ambulance took her to Huskisson Oval from where she was flown to St George Hospital to have her back and pelvic areas assessed for possible damage.
The woman was in a stable condition.
