A 25-YEAR-OLD former Sussex Inlet man, charged over an armed robbery and theft of a car in western Sydney has appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Dane Shannon Lloyd, of Balmoral Road, Mortdale was charged with armed robbery and demand property with menaces, appearing before Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming in Nowra Local Court on Friday.
Police alleged between 3am and 4am on Tuesday, June 24, Lloyd, accompanied by two other men went to a property in East Hills, where they allegedly threatened the occupant of the property with a metal pole, before stealing his 2008 Lexus sedan.
It is also alleged the group demanded $3500 from the victim in July.
Investigators from Strike Force Lagul started inquiries into the armed robbery of the vehicle and arrested Lloyd at Nowra Police Station.
Strike Force Lagul was formed by the Property Crime Squad and Shoalhaven Local Area Command in April 2014 to investigate a number of aggravated break, enter and steal offences in the region.
So far six people have been arrested and charged.
Lloyd’s conditional bail was continued, with the matter to be added to the Department of Public Prosecution list. He will be back in Nowra Local Court on September 16.
