SHOALHAVEN Police are investigating a break and enter into a child care business in Basin View on Thursday night, in which a man was threatened by two men brandishing a knife and a gun.

Police said a 23-year-old man returned to the business in Tallyan Point Road about 6.30pm, and was confronted by two men inside the building; one armed with a knife the other with a gun.
The intruders threatened the man before leaving empty-handed.
Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command established a crime scene, while a team from the Dog Unit searched the area.
At the time the men were wearing black hooded jumpers, one with black tracksuit pants, the other dark blue jeans.
The men were last seen running west along Tallyan Point Road Basin View between 6.30pm and 7pm.
Police returned to the area on Friday, canvassing neighbours trying to gain information.

It was the second major incident in the Shoalhaven featuring a firearm during a robbery in just over 12 hours.
Two men, wearing Spiderman masks, entered the St Georges Basin Newsagency, General Store and Post Office on Island Point Road at St Georges Basin about 6am Thursday, one believed to have been armed with a gun and threatened the female owner of the business before taking an amount of cash from the till.
Police are investigating links to similar offences at Culburra Beach and Sussex Inlet in past months.
