Police are investigating after a man was threatened by two men who had broken into his business in Basin View last night.
Police have been told the 23-year-old man returned to his business in Tallyan Point Road about6.30pm (Thursday 7 August 2014), and was confronted by two men inside the building; one armed with a knife the other with a gun.
The intruders threatened the man before leaving empty-handed.
Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command were alerted and a crime scene established, while a team from the Dog Unit searched the area.
An investigation is now underway and police are keen to speak with two men.
At the time the men were wearing black hooded jumpers, one with black tracksuit pants the other dark blue jeans. The men were last seen running west along Tallyn Point Road Basin View between 6.30pm and 7pm.

EARLIER:
Police are investigating a break and enter at a childcare centre in Basin View on Thursday night.
At 7pm a male was confronted at the Basin View centre by the offenders. Police have not yet released details of what was stolen from the centre if anything.
The pair were believed to be wearing hoodies.
