Grants of up to $40,000 are available to fishing clubs, community groups, local councils and individuals wanting to improve fish habitats in their local area.
More than half a million dollars is available in this funding round to improve habitats in local creeks, rivers and estuaries.
Locally, $25,000 has previously been spent funding the Bolong Road Fishing Platform project to manage stock on riverbanks.
Applications for Habitat Action Grants remain open until September 19.
