New role for tourism boss

EXECUTIVE officer of the South Coast Regional Tourism Organisation Tom Phillips has been appointed to the NSW Crown Holiday Parks Trust’s community advisory committee.

An initiative of the NSW Government, the committee will provide a link between community interests and the trust’s board on matters relating to the management and development of the trust’s holiday parks and reserves throughout the state.

Mr Phillips has been the executive officer of SCRTO since August 2012 and was awarded a Public Service Medal in 2003 for outstanding service to tourism in the Shoalhaven and adjacent South Coast regional areas.
