He has a number of books in print, including the best-seller, The Vintner’s Letter.
Peter was born a miner’s son and raised in a string of bush towns. He combined university study with jobs ranging from mining to truck driving.
He eventually earned four degrees in four different disciplines and worked as a management consultant across Australia, Europe and Japan.
After making a sea-change to a farm on the outskirts of Berry he accepted a lectureship at the University of Wollongong.
He then decided to devote his life to writing and soon hit the best-seller lists.
