On Friday afternoon, Dennis Beazley and Corey Carter played a very close game.
Dennis dominated until the 20th end, the score 21 – 10. Corey fought back to close in on the 33rd end, the score 29 – 26 in Dennis’ favour.
Dennis then scored two on the next end to win 31 – 26. The other game saw Paul Mitchell and Anthony Fisher do battle.
Anthony kept Mitch scoreless until the 13th end and went on to win 32 – 14.
On Saturday Anthony Fisher played Bryan Green. He was again successful defeating Bryan 33 – 9.
Eddie Semevente and John Tilt played their game in windy conditions. The more experienced Eddie won this game.
Phill Bowerman played Ted Sorenson. This was also a relative close game, the score equal on the 18th end, 15-all.
Both players traded ends with Phill finally winning the game 32 – 23 on the 34th end.
Congratulations to all the players for their outstanding efforts, as new bowlers, in this competition.
