A NOWRA man airlifted to a Sydney hospital in a critical condition with a broken neck and serious head and leg injuries after being struck by a car on Kalander Street on June 2 remains in a stable condition.

The 38-year-old man was attempting to cross the road around 6.20pm on Monday, June 2 when he was hit by Ford Mondeo travelling in a westerly direction.
Ambulance paramedics treated the man, who also suffered multiple leg fractures, at the scene.
He was transported to Shoalhaven Hospital before being airlifted by the Ambulance Rescue Helicopter to St George Hospital for specialist care.
