The cameras have been fitted to ensure vehicles comply with mass restrictions on the bridge.
The bridge has a 42.5-tonne weight limit.
The cameras capture real-time traffic monitoring.
Work to install the cameras began in May and was finished this week.
Around 70,000 heavy vehicles use the bridge each year and it is hoped the cameras will go a long way towards reducing long-term damage.
The cameras are protected by steel casing to reduce the risk of vandalism and weather damage.
