POLICE are warning shoppers to protect their handbags and wallets following a brazen robbery in Nowra on Monday afternoon.

A 57-year-old Berry woman had her handbag stolen while she was packing groceries into her vehicle in the Ex-Servicemen’s car park, opposite Nowra Mall, around 4pm.
Police said a young man on a push bike rode past the woman and grabbed the bag, which had been left on the back of a shopping
trolley.
Police have warned shoppers to be aware of where their property is at all times.
