NOWRA police will take no action against the driver of a car who struck a young man on Kalandar Street at East Nowra on Saturday night.

Police said the 18-year-old youth stepped into the path of the vehicle near the intersection of Clipper Road at around 7pm and was knocked to the ground.
Police were first on the scene, with a crew from Nowra Fire and Rescue returning from an incident at Worrigee, administering first aid until Ambulance paramedics arrived.
The youth was treated at the scene by paramedics and was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
Police interviewed the driver of the vehicle and no charges will be laid over the incident.
