Held annually since 1998, the awards cover 15 categories available to NSW councils reflecting the diversity of local government sustainability and environmental initiatives.
The categories encompass issues such as asbestos management, water conservation, and waste avoidance and reuse.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Tuesday, December 2 at Aerial UTS Function Centre, Sydney.
