Jessie’s Girls are yet to claim a win in the competition and had their best chance on Tuesday night against the skilled but under strengthened Bomaderry Vets.
The teams were neck and neck throughout the match and were locked on even points going into the fourth quarter.
Bomaderry Vets came out with a point to prove, and a few lapses in concentration from Jessie’s Girls, as well as having one of their players foul out, saw Bomaderry Vets take the lead.
The final buzzer saw Bomaderry Vets take the win 37-30, however Jessie’s Girls showed great improvement and never gave up.
Bomaderry Vets’ Rebecca Johnson was the top scorer of the game with 21 points.
In the other 6pm match, Kennedy’s Tours defeated Shoalhaven Floor Sanding 57-36.
Top point scorers were Bianca Lestuzzi with 22 points and Kate Denyer with 19 points.
In the 7pm timeslot, Triple O’s defeated Friendly Grocers 72-29.
Maddison Hanlon made plenty of impact for Friendly Grocers, scoring three pointers all over the park.
