Shoalhaven’s first game was against Illawarra Red with the Tigers going down 55-18.
The girls did not have much of a chance with Illawarra putting a full court press on for the entire game.
The second game was against Canberra White and with only six players the Tiger girls came out victorious beating Canberra 32-26.
All the girls played their hearts out with Asha Phillips top scoring with 18 points.
Lucy, Heidi and Indi played excellent defence and Kiara played with determination and confidence.
Casey was amazing on the boards and she played with 100 per cent effort.
On Sunday the Tigers only had five players but the girls continued to play like a team possessed.
They lost their first game to Canberra Gold 65-12 and also lost their second game to Canberra Navy 42-25.
All the girls played with 100 per cent effort and, most if all, they had fun. Although they lost both games on Sunday they played with guts and determination. The girls never gave up and they played well as a team.
