For three months, the club worked closely with the centre to supply each room with a pack filled with goodies to greet guests on arrival.
Some of the donated items include tea, coffee, milk and biscuits and a Nowra Lions Club embroidered tea towel.
Nowra Lions president Janet Hughes said the club felt there was a need for a welcome pack.
“It’s nice to be able to arrive after you have been travelling, often for long periods of time, and be able to unwind with a refreshing hot beverage and a biscuit,” she said.
“We have also included an information pack for each room filled with local knowledge.”
The packs were distributed to each of the 10 rooms and were made possible with the support of local businesses.
