Record high temperatures and clear weather have resulted in significantly more boating activity on our waterways.
“Skippers need to plan their trips carefully,” said Roads and Maritime Services acting maritime director Michael Wright.
“Conditions might appear to be good when they wake up in the morning and set off for the day but at this time of the year weather changes can be sudden.”
