In perfect autum weather there was a good turn out with more than 60 competitors at the event.
Competitors enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the track was in great condition. New sections of single track challenged the racers with plenty of turns, twists, log hops and drop offs.
Different classes allowed racers to select an event suitable for their age and fitness level.
There was even a short “Mud Flickers” race for children up to 10-years-old on a track especially designed for them.
Results from the event can be viewed at www.scum.asn.au.
The next race is planned for the Coondoo track south of Nowra on Sunday, June 22.
Please check the website in case the date changes.
The track is rated intermediate with ‘B’ lines around difficult sections.
The “Pink Wheel” race for women is coming up in September.
For the year’s timetable and more details see the SCUM’s website or email info@scum.asn.au.
