A 12-year-old girl who went missing from Worrigee near Nowra has been located safe and well.
Police found the girl at Worrigee about 10.30am on Saturday.
Officers would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
SATURDAY, 8AM:
POLICE are searching for a 12-year-old girl who went missing from near her Nowra home on Friday afternoon.
Emily Cook left her home in Worrigee at about 3.30pm and was last seen walking north along Arthur Street.
She has not been seen or heard from since and her family reported her missing a short time later.
Police and family members hold concerns for her welfare, due to her age.
Emily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, with long blonde hair and of a thin build.
She was last seen wearing a black top and coloured shorts.
Officers attached to Shoalhaven Local Area Command have launched an investigation.
