Both teams played in the semi-finals last year, but in 2014, the Knights have established themselves as genuine title contenders, while the Bulldogs have disappeared completely.
The Dogs were missing a couple of key players in Gary Warburton and AJ Hatch, but that is no excuse for the 52-16 drubbing against Nowra-Bomaderry last week.
Kiama on the other hand are fresh from a week off and they upset defending premiers Gerringong in their last hit out.
Based on recent form, all signs point towards Kiama and the Bulldogs will need to pull their finger out if they want to stop their season from slipping away.
