The meeting will provide the community the chance to find out what is being planned for Shoalhaven Heads, to have their say, and provide input and feedback.
Following the launch and adoption by council of the Shoalhaven Heads strategic plan in April 2013, the Shoalhaven Heads Community Forum developed a strategic plan working group to facilitate the various projects within the strategy.
The project voted by the community to be the most popular was the town centre strategy, including a landscape master plan and associated beautification.
Council provided $60,000 towards the implementation of the strategic plan and the group decided it was best spent on the landscape master plan for the entire village to ensure various projects were shovel ready.
On Sunday the community will have the opportunity to view the progress on the full list of projects within the strategic plan, including the relocation of Jerry Bailey Preschool to the Public School, the requirement for a retirement village and improved cycling and walking tracks.
The community can also make suggestions on things it would like to see added to the strategic plan.
Some ideas people have already put forward for the strategic plan include a bike skills track at Jerry Bailey Oval, a community library with WIFI access, provision for golf carts to be able to be driven on the road and preferred location for the Jerry Bailey Cottage to be rebuilt.
