The competition, called Shoalhaven Through My Lens, closed on April 30.
Almost 150 photos were entered.
Winning photos from the competition will be used for the calendar, which will then be sold throughout the Shoalhaven to raise funds for local charities.
Shoalhaven Rotary fund-raising raffle calendar co-ordinator Julie Ludlow was pleased with the variety and the quality of the entries.
“After being inundated with photos in April I’m sure people will be impressed with what they see,” she said.
“I think the calendar is going to look terrific.
“The variety of coverage around the Shoalhaven has been wonderful and I think that was helped by dividing the region for entries into three zones that covered the area.
“Now we have a selection of images that most people will relate to,” she said.
Calendars will be sold from August by Rotary clubs and their chosen charities.
If all 2000 calendars are sold the local charities will collect $36,000 between them.
The photographer who entered the winning cover shot will receive $300 and the other 12 photographers will receive $50.
A raffle connected to the calendar sales will begin in January.
Anyone who buys a calendar will go into the monthly draws to win a $200 or a $50 prize. The draws will occur each month for 10 months with a $1000 draw on offer for the last two months of the year.
