About 8.30pm on Saturday Ulladulla Police were patrolling south along the Princes Highway, Milton when they came up behind a Toyota Corolla sedan which caught their attention.
The driver made a sharp left turn onto Thomas Street and accelerated away from the police car.
The vehicle was stopped after making a right hand turn into Church Street.
Police breath-tested the woman driver who returned a positive result.
She was arrested and taken to the Ulladulla Police Station where a subsequent breath analysis resulted in a reading of .144. She was charged with mid-range PCA.
Her driver’s license was suspended and she was issued a Court Attendance Notice to appear at Milton Local Court on June 26.
