The winter mixed competition now moves into proper round games after two trials have been conducted and teams have been graded into three divisions.
Division one has 10 teams: AKS, Ashlee Williams Team, Joel Atfield Roofing, Lewy’s Bakehouse, Mitchell Group, Shea’s Swimming, The Tross, Tim Webster Building, Weller Surveying Services, YTC.
Division two has eight teams: Amazing Dental, Entire Services, Harry’s Takeaway, My Pink Hair, Pitt St Kindy, RH Boyd Pumas, Specsavers, The Spartans.
Division three has eight teams: Clifton Accountants, Dilligaf, Fauvo Hair, Longreach Earthmoving, Manildra, Memorable Moments, Southern Windows, Untouchables.
It was pleasing to see that all teams provided their duty referees in the second trial.
This trend needs to now continue throughout the competition.
With many new players to the competition, it was noticeable that many were wearing jewellery on the field.
Please be advised that all forms of jewellery and watches must be removed before playing.
If it cannot be removed it must be suitably taped.
Additionally, many players were not wearing suitable footwear, which is unsafe for themselves and others.
All officials are instructed to remove players from the field for non compliance.
Please consult your team information pack for additional details.
All players must be registered and financial before playing.
All players must sign on the provided team sheets each week before playing.
This is the last week in which additional players can be signed up.
After this week any additional players required must go through a written request process for approval by the committee.
There is no guarantee of acceptance.
