Aircrews from two MRH90 helicopters flew the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the Blue Mountains.
The Duke and Duchess flew from Victoria Barracks, Sydney onboard the Nowra-based helicopter to visit the 2013 bushfire-affected residents in the town of Winmalee in the Blue Mountains.
Eight personnel from HMAS Albatross, Commander Adrian Capner, Lieutenant Commander Dom Cooper, Lieutenant Commander Stephen Brown, Lieutenant Ivan Hussein, Chief Petty Officer Jim Ritchie, Petty Officer Nicholas Lowe, Petty Officer Jamie Kirby and Petty Officer Mitchell Rogers, took part in the Royal flight.
