Hosted by the Nowra-Culburra Surf Lifesaving Club, the event is now into its 11th year and has been included on the Australian Ocean Swim calendar.
The swim starts at picturesque Tilbury Cove and heads 1.9 kilometres around Penguin Head finishing at Warrain Beach in front of the Surf Club.
Nowra-Culburra Surf Lifesaving Club president Roger Mearns is hoping the 11th instalment of the event will be the best yet.
“Our priority is to attract people to the South Coast over the Easter weekend and to give all competitors a unique and personal ‘Culburra’ experience,” he said.
“The surf club is a community based organisation that survives entirely on volunteers in all aspects of surf lifesaving and all proceeds from the swim will go into operating the surf club,” he added.
The race will start at 10am on Easter Saturday, with registrations to take place between 8am and 9.15.
Entries can be made online at www.oceanswims .com by noon on Good Friday for $30 or on the day for $35.
